Tapestry Project Specific Plan

Adopted on February 2nd, 2016, the Tapestry Specific Plan encompasses all of the major information regarding the up in coming community of Silverwood. This plan includes important information divided into chapters spanning from 1-24. Some of these chapters go into detail on Land Use Plan, Grading, and Drainage, and Environmental Management Plan.

Chapter 2 of the Tapestry Project Specific Plan, Land Use Plan, addresses the Opportunities and Constraints of different space topics. These include Sensitive Flora and Fauna, Drainage, Watersheds, flood inundation areas Natural Open Space, and Conservation. This information begins on page I-19.

Beginning on page I-101, Chapter 6, Grading and Drainage, of Tapestry Project Specific Plan, provides a grading plan that includes subsections of, General Earthwork, General Grading Guidelines, and the Conceptual Grading Plan.

Lastly, Chapter 7 of the document, Environmental Management Plan, provides information on topics such as Air Quality, Biological Habitual Preservation, Water Quality, and Low Impact Development. This chapter can be located on I-129 of the document.

These sections are important while viewing the entirety of the document because they provide the city of Hesperia with responsibility and a framework to follow while building the community of Silverwood. Failing to provide accurate and ethical results in the first phase of the project could affect the continuation of furthering the Tapestry Project.
