City of Hesperia 2021-2029 Housing Element

The document, ”City of Hesperia 2021-2029 Housing Element” is described as an element needed within the City of Hesperia to assure that housing is provided for all economic segments of the community. The document explains that its goal is to create affordable housing that is consistent with all state laws. Looking at the section labeled, “Specific Plans”, the document discusses the three specific plans that the city of Hesperia has adopted. These plans include Summit Valley Ranch, Tapestry, and the Main Street and Freeway Corridor SP. The Tapestry portion of the document elaborates on a few different areas. Firstly, the main housing development in Hesperia is expected to occur over the space of Tapestry. The surrounding areas of the project are supposed to be supported by existing infrastructure such as water, sewer, utilities, paved roads, and commercial services adjacent to the future areas. The document continues to explain the housing information through classifications of outreach capacity along with various others. Additional important information regarding the project’s residential land uses and other development standards are also found within the document and show the future for the housing aspect of the project.
